Sleepaway 3rd Party License

1. Content

  1. If you adhere to these terms you are allowed to publish free or commercial products in connection to Sleepaway without express permission from Possum Creek Games Inc.

  2. Art and text from any Sleepaway materials (including both the base game and any supplemental materials) cannot be reused or translated without our express permission.

  3. You can use any of the names or terms within Sleepaway’s world, including (but not limited to) the Lindworm, the Underhill King, Our Lady Oubliette, the Songleader, etc.

  4. The mechanics and game rules of Wanderhome may be reused and referenced freely. You may also freely use “game mechanical sentences” — such as “Ask 1 to the left and 1 to the right” or “Describe your gender.”

  5. The Possum Creek Games community is built on a culture of care, respect, and lending a voice to the voiceless. We reserve the right to disavow your product and revoke access to this license. For example, and without limitation, we will disavow your product and revoke access to this license if we determine that your product contains content that is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or in any other way hurtful towards marginalized identities and experiences.

2. Branding

  1. Your product cannot use the Possum Creek Games Inc. logo (either just the icon or the full text), the Sleepaway logo, or any other logos associated with Sleepaway without our express permission.

  2. You are allowed and encouraged (but not required) to use the Sleepaway compatibility logo. We’ve included 2 versions here, based on the background of the image. If you plan on making any alterations to the logo, please email us at main@possumcreekgames.com for permission (which we’ll usually grant).

  3. You are not allowed to give the impression that your product is an official Possum Creek Games product or that we sponsor you in any way without our express permission.

3. Legal

  1. Possum Creek Games Inc. is not responsible for any legal claims against your product.

  2. Any legal disputes, controversies or claims related to this license shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New York and settled in a court in the state of New York.

  3. Both following bits of text must appear somewhere visible in the product, and on any website or storefront where you promote the product. If the product is not written (a painting, a soundtrack, etc.) then the text must appear in the description of the product on any storefront.
